Watermelon Lemonade Recipe Card

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups fresh watermelon chunks (about half a medium watermelon)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (approximately 6-8 lemons)
  • ⅓ cup honey or sugar (adjustable to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Cut watermelon into chunks and puree in a blender until smooth
  • Strain watermelon puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp (optional)
  • Squeeze lemons and strain juice to remove seeds
  • In a large pitcher, combine watermelon puree, lemon juice, and sweetener
  • Stir until sweetener dissolves completely
  • Add cold water and stir to combine
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill and allow flavors to meld
  • Serve over ice, garnished with fresh mint if desired

Notes

  • For a sparkling version, substitute half the water with club soda just before serving
  • Adjust sweetener to taste depending on the sweetness of your watermelon
  • Store in refrigerator for up to 48 hours
