Equipment

  • Tall glass
  • Muddler or spoon
  • Measuring spoons
  • Knife & Cutting Board
  • Stirring spoon

Ingredients

  • 6-8 resh mint leaves (plus extra for garnish)
  • ½ lime, cut into wedges
  • 1-2 tsp sugar, honey, or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
  • ½ cup sparkling water (or soda water)
  • ½ cup crushed ice
  • Extra lime slices for garnish

Instructions

Muddle the Mint & Lime

  • Add fresh mint leaves and lime wedges to a glass.
  • Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press them together.
  • This releases the oils and juices—don’t overdo it, or it may turn bitter.

Add Sweetener

  • Sprinkle in sugar, honey, or your preferred sweetener.
  • Stir well until fully dissolved.

Fill with Ice

  • Pack the glass to the top with crushed ice.
  • This chills the drink and keeps it extra refreshing.

Pour in Sparkling Water

  • Slowly top up with sparkling water or soda water.
  • Give it a gentle stir to combine everything.

Garnish & Serve

  • Add a lime slice and a sprig of mint for that pro touch.
  • Sip and enjoy!

Notes & Pro Tips

🔥 Want a fruity twist? Add strawberries, raspberries, or mango while muddling.
🔥 No muddler? Use the back of a spoon—it works just as well.
🔥 Making it for a crowd? Mix everything (except the fizz) in a pitcher, then pour and add sparkling water just before serving.
🔥 Prefer it extra fizzy? Use tonic water instead of soda.
